ISLAMABAD – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that India is having difficulty accepting its defeat at the hands of Pakistan, particularly in the diplomatic and strategic arenas.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Dar claimed that Pakistan had consistently outmaneuvered India on key global platforms, leading to frustration across the border.
“India cannot digest Pakistan’s recent achievements, especially our effective foreign policy stance on Kashmir and other regional matters,” he said.
Dar also criticized India’s alleged efforts to isolate Pakistan internationally, saying they have failed to gain traction. “Pakistan has strong relations with major countries and global organizations, which is a testament to our successful diplomacy,” he added.
He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peaceful coexistence and regional stability but warned that attempts to undermine its sovereignty would be met with a firm response.
The remarks come amid heightened tensions between the two countries and follow recent diplomatic engagements between Pakistan and other global powers, including China, Iran, and Russia.
