LOS ANGELES: Music producer Benny Blanco has shared that he and singer-actress Selena Gomez have not yet begun planning their wedding, despite being engaged since late last year.
In a recent interview, Blanco explained that both he and Gomez are currently focused on their professional commitments, including the promotion of their joint music album and various creative projects. He emphasized that while the excitement around their engagement remains strong, wedding preparations have taken a back seat for now.
Blanco described their approach to the wedding as relaxed and stress-free, saying they are taking things “one day at a time.” He added that while Gomez often imagines different themes for the event, there’s no rush to finalize anything.
The couple reportedly envisions a celebration that reflects both fun and intimacy, with some cultural elements like the traditional Jewish hora dance and meaningful family moments. Blanco also mentioned that Gomez hopes to include challah bread at the event and is dreaming of a speech by actor Martin Short, with Steve Martin possibly performing music.
Although no date has been set, the couple plans to start organizing the wedding later this year. Fans continue to show strong support for the duo, eagerly awaiting updates on their special day.
