TEHRAN: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Iran on an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in security and border management.
Upon arrival, Naqvi was received by senior Iranian officials at the airport. During the visit, he is expected to hold meetings with high-ranking Iranian authorities to discuss matters of mutual interest, including counterterrorism efforts, regional security, and improved coordination along the Pakistan-Iran border.
The interior minister will also explore avenues for enhancing cooperation in immigration control, anti-narcotics operations, and cross-border trade facilitation.
Officials say the visit is part of Pakistan’s broader efforts to deepen ties with neighboring countries and ensure regional peace and stability through diplomatic engagement.
