Pakistani actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali tragically passed away in October 2024, but her body was only discovered in July 2025. Investigations revealed that on October 7, 2024, she attempted to reach out to 14 individuals, including a well-known drama director, but did not receive any response.
Police recovered three mobile phones, a tablet, a diary, and various documents from her apartment, which may shed more light on her final days. Initially, Humaira’s family refused to claim her body, stating they had cut ties with her. However, following public concern and intervention from the Sindh Governor, her family came to Karachi to take custody of her remains.
Her death has sparked widespread discussion about mental health, family estrangement, and the lack of societal support. Authorities are continuing investigations to determine the exact cause of her death.
