GAZA: At least 29 people were killed in a series of Israeli airstrikes across Gaza, according to the Palestinian Civil Defence.
Rescue teams reported that the strikes targeted residential areas, including homes in the Al-Maghazi and Al-Bureij refugee camps in central Gaza, resulting in heavy casualties. Many victims are said to be women and children, with several bodies recovered from the rubble.
The attacks come amid escalating violence and ongoing Israeli military operations in the region. Civil Defence officials said the bombardment has severely hampered rescue efforts, as access to many affected areas remains difficult due to continued shelling and infrastructure damage.
Local authorities have warned of a worsening humanitarian crisis, with hospitals overwhelmed and critical supplies running low.
The Israeli military has yet to comment on the latest strikes.
